Description:
Edwin Blackgaard has teamed up with one of the local radio stations in Odyssey to produce and air a fun, fictional program called "Terror from the Skies." The show is aired live to add to its spookiness, but it is all in good fun. Unfortunately, through a series of incidents and accidents, Lawrence and Jimmy miss the fact that it's just a show. They think the program is for real and are terrified that aliens from outer space are invading the earth! Lawrence takes off in a panic with Jimmy close behind him.
After a series of madcap mishaps, the two of them manage to burst in on the climax of the production. This gives it a poignant, if unintended, ending. Lawrence again learns that he shouldn't let his imagination run away with him, and Jimmy finds that you can't believe everything you hear.
Questions:
Why was it silly for Jimmy and Lawrence to be frightened of outer space aliens invading the earth? Explain. Would you have been afraid? Why or why not? What is the best way to handle fear?
