Description:
With Mitch gone to work with the FBI in Virginia, Connie believes he has lost interest in her. The couple gets into a full-blown argument when he goes a few weeks without writing. Seth becomes the object of Mandy’s affection and she tries to get closer to him. Mandy signs up for evangelism class after learning that he’s one of the leaders. Liz, however, is picked to be Seth’s evangelism partner, and Mandy takes it that she’s stealing him. They fight, and both girls refuse to apologize first. “So your lifelong friendship is over?” asks Connie. It appears to be. Meanwhile at the J & J Antique Gallery, Jack and Joanne learn that a church they support in Sri Lanka has burned down. To raise money to rebuild, Joanne wants to sell an old compass from the Gallery, and the Smithsonian (in Washington, D.C.) is interested! Only her husband Jack doesn’t think she should go.Jack and Joanne apologize to one another for the fight, though Jack says he’d feel better if someone else went with her on the road trip. Connie volunteers (so she can "apologize to Mitch in person"), and the two ride off into the adventure that awaits.

Questions:
Was Connie right in suspecting Mitch? Why or why not? Did Mandy and Liz have a reason for arguing? Liz then said that her lifelong friendship was over. Why did she feel this way? Joanne said her marriage was more important than being right. Do you have any friendships that are that important? What can you do to save them?
