Description:
The "Celebration of Liberty" Traveling Exhibit has come to Odyssey, courtesy of John Avery Whittaker. The primary attraction of this exhibit: an original model of the Statue of
Liberty, valued at over $7 million. Unfortunately, the priceless piece of history attracts more than just art-loving citizens, and is stolen right through the fingers of the nationally-recognized Collins Security Agency.
When Sgt. Beverly Collins and the Odyssey Police investigate the crime, it appears that Nick may have stolen the figure! Though Nick attempts to shift the blame by lying about his whereabouts, the truth comes out via Whit’s security videotape. Though Nick is proved innocent of the crime, his relationship with Whit is damaged by untruthfulness.
The following morning Whit and Nick arrive at Whit’s End and discover that someone has broken in, and stolen the security videotape! However, Whit’s new audio monitoring system comes into play, leading to new suspects, a kidnapping, and an important lesson in truth and trust.
