Description:
Strange messages from an unknown woman named Cindy keep being left on Connie’s cell phone. The woman is trying to find her father William whom she hasn’t spoken to in nearly twenty years. Her messages sound incredibly urgent! These messages lead Whit and Connie on a chase to reunite Cindy and William once again. After searching all over Odyssey, they find William, but now they can’t find Cindy!
Finally, their investigation leads them to the train station, where they find Cindy, who informs them she is set on leaving Odyssey. She explains that the only reason she tried to find her father was because her doctor thought her unborn baby could possibly have a disease. The only way to get answers about this disease was to find William to learn about her family medical history. The doctors ran the tests again, however, and informed her that the baby is healthy and disease-free.
At the station, Cindy is adamant she has no desire to see her father, and persists she will leave Odyssey without delay. Connie gives Cindy a letter from William and begs her to rethink her decision to leave. Cindy boards her train and Connie and Whit head back to the nursing home where William is living because of a stroke. Shortly after they arrive, Cindy walks in the door! She is able to verbally share her grief and the pain his leaving caused her. He is able to share how much he still loves her. This heartrending story serves as a remarkable lesson in forgiveness and the cleansing power of Christ’s love.
