Description:
Continued from "A Most Intriguing Question". Tom, Connie, and Bernard demand answers! Where has Eugene been? Why was he gone for so long? Why was Whit keeping it a secret? Whit explains. It turns out that even while in Odyssey, Eugene had been working on a top secret program to convert brain waves into radio waves. When they discovered the evil purpose that Novacom had for the technology, the pair of them left town (see "Plan B"). They went around the world until they were sure that they were safe and then went to Washington D.C, he continued to research this project for the National Institute of Health. However, NIH eventually withdrew its funding from the program, leaving Eugene heartbroken. Eugene decided to continue the research...by trying one last experiment on himself. This experiment caused him to lose his memory. He and Katrina decided to come back to Odyssey to see if Mr. Whittaker could help him get it back. Connie, Bernard, and Tom do all they can to help Eugene get his memory back, but nothing seems to work. To make things more awkward, Eugene doesn't know how to act around the three of them because he can't remember them. Finally, Eugene persuades Mr. Whittaker to try a contraversial method in the Imagination Station that may restore his memory. Continued in "A Most Extraordinary Conclusion".
