Description:
Eugene is back in Odyssey and suddenly finds that everything has changed! His job as a research assistant at Campbell County Community College has been replaced, the Computer Club has a new president, and even Whit’s End doesn’t seem to need his expertise anymore. Eugene spends his time automating all the appliances in his house, but Katrina just wants to make chicken for dinner. While Eugene tries to find his new place in Odyssey, Grady and Samantha deal with changes of their own. Their mom has a new job working as a cleaning lady in their apartment building, but she works nights so Grady and Samantha don’t see her as much. Their mom gets in big trouble because Grady keeps running downstairs to interrupt her work. When their refrigerator breaks one evening, Samantha hurts her leg and they get into trouble with their downstairs neighbor. Eugene learns of the refrigerator crisis and discovers how his talents can be applied in Odyssey once again. And with a little help from Wooton and Eugene, Grady realizes that change can be good. Eugene and Katrina pray for God’s direction and begin to make plans for their future contribution to Odyssey.
