Description:
Rusty Gordon, former member of the Bones of Rath, has written a a chapter in a book! Unfortunately, the stories he shares are not the most flattering to Odyssey’s residents. Mr. Whittaker wears pants from the 1950s, Connie is most likely to be serving ice cream at age 85, Liz is bossy, and Eugene is an "intellectual sauna!" Eugene consults Whit to determine if he really is a show-off. He takes drastic action to stop being the center of attention -— he takes a job as janitor at Odyssey Middle School. He thinks it will solve his desire for attention, but instead, he assists the debate team and saves the school by reporting a gas leak. Meanwhile, Whit buys new pants and Liz takes a step back in her leadership of the debate team. When she discovers that everybody is too busy to share the workload, Mr. Whittaker points out that God gifted Liz with leadership skills. Liz decides that she is going to use her bossiness to be a good leader. In the end, Connie decides that something must be done to remedy Rusty's inaccurate information. She decides to write a book of her own -- Tales of a Small-Town Soda Jerk.
